Smashed Live

A POWERFUL PERFORMANCE YOUR STUDENTS NEVER FORGET

A LIVE THEATRE BASED LESSON ON ALCOHOL FOR YEARS 8, 9 & 10

An empowering and relatable theatre in education program developed to complement the work that is being done in the classroom. Smashed helps to embed prior learning and present the issues in a realistic, credible format.

Completely Free!

Entirely free of charge, this theatre performance and workshop will last 60 minutes, working with up to 300 students at the same time. Multiple performances can be delivered if your student numbers are higher than this.

Smashed is designed to meet your curricular needs, linking directly to the Australian & state based Health curricula and is also an excellent addition to pastoral and wellbeing programs.

Smashed explores the life-changing effects of alcohol – impacting health, safety, relationships, and career aspirations. A hard-hitting, interactive, multi-media lesson on the risks associated with underage drinking. Students watch a performance about three friends who find themselves in trouble as a result of their misuse of alcohol. An interactive workshop follows the play where students are invited to work with the cast to explore ways of combating peer pressure and changing the outcome for our characters.
